Dina McDermott has been teaching Pilates since becoming a STOTT Certified Instructor in 2001. At the time, she was a contemporary dancer/choreographer recovering from a knee injury. Dina strives to collaborate with her students to evolve towards balance, vitality and wholeness. In her teaching she emphasizes anatomical and postural awareness, and breath as the bridge between body, mind and spirit.
Dina also enjoys teaching Ballet and Creative Movement to very young children at Pacific Northwest Ballet School. Her other passions include yoga, travel, reading and writing.
