Victoria Vinson-Jacobs

Victoria believes that each of us can get to know our own body’s language in a way that makes life richer and more enjoyable. She loves to teach movement in a way that helps you to make more sense to yourself. Her teaching combines functional, structural anatomy with a deep curiosity about who each person is as an individual. She loves to work with clients who want to better understand themselves as they inhabit their bodies.

Victoria explores fluid functional structure in the lineage of Aileen Passloff (Judson Dance Theater) and Jill Ableson (SPRe® Bodywork). Her background includes extensive training in contact improvisation, flamenco, bellydance and contemporary dance technique. Before moving to Seattle in 2007, she earned a BA in Writing/Dance from Bard College, NY. She has been teaching movement arts since 2004. She is also a painter working with beeswax encaustic.

Victoria has a private SPRe practice at Studio Evolve ( and is currently on maternity leave.
