Kimmie Davison

Pilates Instructor & SPRE PRACTITIONER, SHe/her

Kimmie grew up really active playing volleyball, track, snowboarding. In 2015, she tried Pilates as part of an at-home circuit training program. This practice helped her tap back into her love of movement and start to reconnect to her body. Through Pilates and other forms of movement, she was able to reduce chronic pain, tap into her creativity, and return to the things that bring her joy in life. She now uses movement as a way to both discover and express herself.

Kimmie now teachers Pilates and practices Somatic Personal Resonance (SPRe) bodywork at Studio Evolve, and bring a wealth of knowledge about functional anatomy, injury recovery and pain management to her work. Her specialties include low back pain, sciatica, shoulder injuries and conditioning for current and former athletes.

Kimmie loves helping people stretch into new potentials and build strong, flexible bodies that truly support them. She became a SPRe Practitioner, because sometimes we need a different kind of help with physical patterns that have historic context.

In her personal experience with SPRe, Kimmie has become much more fluent in the language of her own body and learned to interpret and work with its signals. As a SPRe practitioner, she loves helping others find that attunement with themselves. She loves being less of a somatic mystery to herself and wants that freedom for anyone who desires it.

Her favorite way to work with new and returning clients right now is through The Accelerator, a 4-week container designed to help you safely and efficiently get stronger, make progress on your injuries, and increase your energy and vitality through the combined approach of private Pilates sessions AND SPRe Bodywork.

Martine Dedek

OWNER; SPRE® EDUCATIONAL FOUNDER, PRACTITIONER TRAINER & PRACTITIONER, SHE/HER

Martine enjoys the diverse learning opportunities studio ownership has allowed her. She began her career in the field of movement and bodies as a Pilates Instructor in 1999. Soon after her original Pilates certification, Martine pursued numerous other certifications and sought to bring her client offerings and business acumen to one place in the founding of Studio Evolve, Pilates, Gyrotonic & SPRe® Bodywork.

Along her journey, Martine partnered with Jill Ableson for the development of the SPRe® Practitioner Training Program. Together they have brought the SPRe® Training Curriculum to its current evolution as a licensed Somatic Education Training Program and WA State Vocational Training School.

Working with Martine is both grounding and expansive. She enjoys the practice of energetically, verbally and somatically attuning with and guiding clients. Her use of SPRe® Bodywork, as well as her curiosity and engagement leads to delightful moments of clarity and greater physical comfort for her clients.

Martine feels an essential component to building a strong partnership with her client is a foundation of trust, openness and curiosity. This allows for the safe and supportive exploration of whatever difficult, confusing or conflicting emotional and somatic experiences arise in the journey they take together. Ready to take the first step? Martine is currently seeing SPRe® clients online and in person and looks forward to hearing from you.
