Pilates Studio near Green Lake, Seattle | Studio Evolve
since 2006
Welcome to Studio Evolve - a Pilates studio near Green Lake offering private Pilates sessions, semi-private Reformer classes and Gyrotonic - focused on strength-building and functional movement you’ll actually look forward to.
A Different Kind of Pilates Studio
At Studio Evolve, we've built something deliberately different from a big-box gym or a trendy fitness studio. Our instructors are experts in functional movement — the kind that helps you build strength without getting hurt and helps you to feel confident moving through daily life. One of our long-time clients has said that her goal is “to wipe her own bum for as long as possible!”
We're the only studio near Green Lake offering private Pilates, Gyrotonic, semi-private Reformer classes, Breathwork, and Somatic Bodywork (SPRE) all under one roof. Our semi-private classes are capped at 5 people, which means your instructor knows your name, your history, and will modify class based on who is signed up.
No need to dress up or show up looking a certain way. We focus on how you feel in your body, not how you look.
easy to reach from Green Lake
Studio Evolve is about 10 minutes south of Green Lake, straight down Stone Way N to the Wallingford neighborhood or down Wallingford Ave N. If you’re coming down Stone Way, you can even make a quick stop at Sea Wolf Bakery, one of our faves.
A lot of our Green Lake clients make their Pilates session part of a larger neighborhood rhythm — a walk around the lake loop before, a stop at Tangletown on the way home, or an hour to themselves in between the rest of a full week. It’s also an easy bike ride for those who prefer two wheels.
You'll find us at 3333 Wallingford Ave N, Ste B — right near Gas Works Park and Lake Union. Street parking is generally available on Densmore Ave N, N Northlake Way, or Wallingford Ave N. The Gas Works Park lot is a good backup — free parking for up to four hours.
We've been open in this same location since 2006. That's 20 years in the same neighborhood.
Who We Work With
Seattle and Green Lake specifically, is full of people who already prioritize movement — walkers, cyclists, swimmers at Evans Pool, regulars on the loop. If that's you, you probably already understand the value of staying active. What Pilates adds is the kind of focused and balancing strength work that supports everything else you love to do — so you can keep doing it for longer, with less pain and more confidence.
Many of our Green Lake clients come to us at a turning point. Maybe they've been active their whole lives but something has shifted — a nagging injury that won't fully resolve or a recovery that's taking longer than expected. That's exactly what we're here for.
We also work with people who are newer to structured movement — who've been meaning to start something for years and just haven't found the right fit. If the gym never felt like your place, you're in good company here.
Our clients range in age from 30 to 92. We welcome people of all genders, body types, fitness levels, and movement histories. If Pilates or Gyrotonic has been on your mind, you don't need to be fit or flexible to start — that's what you build here.
