Pilates Classes - we offer Essential Level Pilates classes for beginners to start in a group setting.

Signing up for a program like Pilates Essentials Classes at Studio Evolve creates a sense of accountability. You've made an investment and committed to showing up, which can be a powerful motivator. Plus, the small class size (limited to five students) fosters a supportive environment where you can connect with classmates and hold each other accountable.

Exercise shouldn't feel like a chore! Studio Evolve's Pilates Essentials Classes is designed to be fun and accessible, even for beginners or those new to exercise in general. Our instructors are passionate about creating a positive and encouraging environment, making movement enjoyable for everyone.

This class is designed to give you all the basics you need to succeed in other group Pilates class. You'll learn the foundational moves, practice using the Reformer machines, and get personalized attention from your instructor to find modifications that work for your unique body.

And YES - we make exercise FUN!

Our teachers LOVE to help folks learn to enjoy movement - ESPECIALLY if you dreaded gym class as a kid, or have found gyms or other studios uncomfortable, stressful, or boring.

This series, like all of our Reformer classes, is limited to FIVE students to maximize attention from your teacher.

Martine Dedek

OWNER; SPRE® EDUCATIONAL FOUNDER, PRACTITIONER TRAINER & PRACTITIONER, SHE/HER

Martine enjoys the diverse learning opportunities studio ownership has allowed her. She began her career in the field of movement and bodies as a Pilates Instructor in 1999. Soon after her original Pilates certification, Martine pursued numerous other certifications and sought to bring her client offerings and business acumen to one place in the founding of Studio Evolve, Pilates, Gyrotonic & SPRe® Bodywork.

Along her journey, Martine partnered with Jill Ableson for the development of the SPRe® Practitioner Training Program. Together they have brought the SPRe® Training Curriculum to its current evolution as a licensed Somatic Education Training Program and WA State Vocational Training School.

Working with Martine is both grounding and expansive. She enjoys the practice of energetically, verbally and somatically attuning with and guiding clients. Her use of SPRe® Bodywork, as well as her curiosity and engagement leads to delightful moments of clarity and greater physical comfort for her clients.

Martine feels an essential component to building a strong partnership with her client is a foundation of trust, openness and curiosity. This allows for the safe and supportive exploration of whatever difficult, confusing or conflicting emotional and somatic experiences arise in the journey they take together.
