How Pilates Builds Balance and Helps You Stay Independent as You Age

why falls are a serious Risk after 50 - and What you can do

how pilates builds balance and stability

Maintaining your balance is critical for staying healthy, active, and independent as you age. Here at Studio Evolve, a Seattle Pilates studio, we understand this concern for older adults.

For older adults, falling, often while performing simple everyday activities like reaching into the cupboard or tying their shoes, is a leading cause of bone breaks and fractures, often resulting in loss of mobility and independence.

The good news is that many falls can be prevented with a simple movement routine designed to build and maintain your balance. This is exactly why Erin Sekulich signed up for a course about Pilates for Balance & Fall Prevention!
