Meet Erin, Studio Evolve’s Newest Pilates Teacher!

You may already know Erin as our Customer Support Manager…she’s also a long-time health and wellness expert!

If you’re a Studio Evolve regular, you may already know Erin as our friendly, knowledgeable Customer Support Manager…and she’s also the newest addition to our Pilates Teaching Team!

Erin has expertise in several modalities in health and wellness: she has an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and a Master’s degree in Nutrition, and currently runs her own private practice as a Nutritionist.

She recently completed her comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training, and is excited to bring her understanding of whole-person health and anatomy to Studio Evolve.

Erin uses her personal Pilates practice to manage her low back pain, and has a knack for helping others reduce pain and find stability.

When she started a regular Pilates Reformer and Tower practice, she says, “I immediately noticed a reduction in low back pain and the ability to withstand things that had previously bothered my back: working in the kitchen, dancing, travel. My back is now so much more resilient!”

Erin loves working with Pilates BEGINNERS, as well as folks returning to their practice after injury, and those looking to stay active as they age.

She’s also an avid learner who is deeply committed to the process of helping her students improve their mobility and achieve their own health and wellness goals.

Erin has private session availability on Monday afternoons and evenings, Tuesday afternoons, and by request.

If you’re new to Studio Evolve, we recommend getting started with a 2 Private Sessions Intro Offer.

P.S. The 2 Private Sessions Intro Offer is specifically designed for folks who are new to Pilates - including those who are new to exercise in general.

You’ll meet one-on-one with your teacher twice within one week. Your sessions will be customized to your goals and any injuries or concerns you may have, and then your teacher will recommend a specific plan for you.

Martine Dedek

OWNER; SPRE® EDUCATIONAL FOUNDER, PRACTITIONER TRAINER & PRACTITIONER, SHE/HER

Martine enjoys the diverse learning opportunities studio ownership has allowed her. She began her career in the field of movement and bodies as a Pilates Instructor in 1999. Soon after her original Pilates certification, Martine pursued numerous other certifications and sought to bring her client offerings and business acumen to one place in the founding of Studio Evolve, Pilates, Gyrotonic & SPRe® Bodywork.

Along her journey, Martine partnered with Jill Ableson for the development of the SPRe® Practitioner Training Program. Together they have brought the SPRe® Training Curriculum to its current evolution as a licensed Somatic Education Training Program and WA State Vocational Training School.

Working with Martine is both grounding and expansive. She enjoys the practice of energetically, verbally and somatically attuning with and guiding clients. Her use of SPRe® Bodywork, as well as her curiosity and engagement leads to delightful moments of clarity and greater physical comfort for her clients.

Martine feels an essential component to building a strong partnership with her client is a foundation of trust, openness and curiosity. This allows for the safe and supportive exploration of whatever difficult, confusing or conflicting emotional and somatic experiences arise in the journey they take together. Ready to take the first step? Martine is currently seeing SPRe® clients online and in person and looks forward to hearing from you.
