Gina’s Studio Evolve Experience: safe & supportive Pilates in Seattle

TESTIMONIAL: How Gina gained strength and stability without getting injured or burning herself out…

“During the pandemic, my life became alarmingly sedentary, and my body started to get really creaky because I wasn’t moving enough. I was also struggling with vertigo.

“In the past I’ve done activities where I’ve gone really hard and ended up injuring myself, so I needed something that would be really safe and supportive, especially at my age.

“The first session at Studio Evolve’s Pilates Studio in Seattle was challenging, but we modified the exercises right away - and I didn’t feel like the modifications lessened the experience, or the benefits I’m getting.

“It was doable, fun, and challenging without being miserable.

“I still have vertigo, but after practicing Pilates at Studio Evolve twice a week for a year, I feel much stronger and more stable in my body - at least twenty years younger.

“And, I always look forward to my Pilates sessions and it goes by really fast, so no part of it’s a slog.

“It’s been life-changing for me. I was looking for the answer to something that would be safe enough that I could actually do it physically, AND that would give benefits immediately, and this was it.”

-Gina, Studio Evolve Member

When Gina first started practicing at Studio Evolve, a renowned Seattle Pilates studio, she knew she needed to move her body more in order to feel more comfortable now AND stay independent as she aged.

And she needed it to fit into her life - with Studio Evolve’s easy parking and convenient location, the studio fit the bill.

Gina started with a 2-Session Intro Package at our Pilates Studio in Seattle to see if she would like it. When she enjoyed the practice, loved her instructors, and appreciated the warm, friendly vibe, she took our recommendation and committed to a twice-a-week practice.

She’s loved seeing progress in her practice, AND in her everyday life.

“It’s the little things, like getting dressed,” says Gina. “I can balance on one leg while putting my pants on without feeling so wobbly.”

Looking ahead, Gina plans to continue her twice-weekly Pilates practice at Studio Evolve in Seattle to maintain her health and wellbeing. “There’s no Everest ahead for me,” says Gina, “but as an independent person, I want to continue to be able to walk down the street, take care of myself, and do what I need to do as I get older.”

If you’re looking for an effective movement practice that can be modified to meet your individual needs, like Gina was, we invite you to start with the 2 Private Session Intro Package at Studio Evolve, Seattle’s premier Pilates studio.
